why am I up so EARLY?

B/c Beard woke up early to go to Woobang tower land with Pak and sons--THAT'S WHY.
I talked to my brother yesterday--he's in the hospital with viral meningitis. Nuts. Apparently he got it from a cold sore that irritated the nerve endings and went to his brain. He was at work and started having tunnel vision and pain in his right side and then when he would try to talk what he was saying isn't what he was trying to say. The guy that works next to him thought he was having a stroke. THen he lost the ablility to grip. And get this--he stays at work til the end of his shift (2 more hours) and DRIVES HIMSELF to the hosptial. They did a spinal tap and a bunch of tests. He'll probably be there till Monday and then 2 weeks of bed rest when he goes home. That'll drive him crazy. And now that he's had it once, he's prone to get it again so he'll probably be put on meds that make him less likely to get cold sores.
Beard's brother was also in the hospital recently--he had to have surgery to release pressure in (on?) his eyeball. They drilled into it. Ick. And he had to have surgery for glaucoma too. Nuts again. He's only 25!
St. Patty's Day was fun. We went to Nino and Brents. Drank a lot of beer-and some soju. We went to Psycho at some point and that's where everything fades. Woke up at 1:14pm. Ordered pizza with cheesuh crustuh and went back to sleep til 6. We met Christa at 830 at Vikings in LotteMart to be told there was an hour wait. We were way too hungry for that so we headed downtown and after wandering around ended up at Il Pasto. Then to BaskinRobins and back home.
Is there anything better than Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream?
